Background
After obtaining a PhD from Harvard University, I completed a post-doctoral appointment at Stanford University. I then joined the antimicrobial drug research and development program at Vicuron (Versicor), which subsequently was acquired by Pfizer.
Expertise
My areas of expertise include microbiology, antibiotics, cancer biology, GI/IBD, cardiovascular disease, assay development, toxicology, cell culture, animal models, molecular techniques, document control, ESL editing, and project coordination with external collaborators and CROs.
Bench-trained as a scientist, I have experience in molecular biology, bacteriology, antibiotic research, animal models, in vitro assay development, basic pharmacology, and data analysis. Since 2005, I have provided scientific writing and editing services for multiple CROs, biotechs, and pharmaceutical companies.
